Frigéavia and Giravia together formed SUD AVIATION who was the maker of the famous Caravelle air-crafts from the 1950s and '60s.
Most of the Frigéavia walls carry the logo of the

of Martres are good enough to recognize the logo as a combination of six
airplanes —Caravelles by the position of the engines— placed noses together in a circle.
The sixfold symmetry makes it look like a snowflake. Good find for a company stating la technique aviation au service du froid
.
Aérospatiale (the Airbus company) is rooted in Sud Aviation.

This painting was traced back to 1938!
