| The bat-like shapes probably descend from boulders with movement suggesting stripes like the ones we find in Pakistan. Although other countries also feature speed-stripes (see f.e. Chile, France), I see the double lines from the Pakistani roadsign easily evolve towards the wings of the bat. |  |
