On this island of only 21 square kilometres our team came against two different
children's crossing signs. |
We are on territory under French influence. It's therefore hardly surprising
that one of the finds comes from France where this modern
drawing is omnipresent. |
|
The CIA factbook (2009) states that the island attracts labor from Brazil and Portugal.
It's perhaps therefore —to make their guest workers
feel more at home— that the second design was introduced. It comes straight from
Portugal. Brazilian workers will appreciate the girl's skirt which ends
high above the knee. |
