Calvera – Obarra

Calvera and its Monastery of Santa María de Obarra are situated in the Ribagorza region in the far east of Huesca province. The monastery is on the A-1605 from Graus over Capella to Bonansa and the N-260. You don't have to go during opening hours, because the stones are always accessible.

Apart from the stones and the arch above the mouth of the under­house (2, cárcavo) nothing of the former mill has been preserved.

(5, 6) Stone 2: — ∅ 120-125 cm, 8 cm thick.

(7, 8) Stone 3: — ∅ 130 cm, 17 cm thick.

(9, 10) Stone 4: — ∅ 120 cm.
