When we were there in 2011 we spent hours in traffic jams but not one Man at Work sign crossed our path. But this time our man in the field had more luck and he had the opportunity to report a new traffic sign.

In general road signage in Réunion is indistinguishable from the signage in France — after all Réunion is officially only a department of that country with very centralistic reflexes.

This find is therefore remarkable because we are looking at a workman from Germany. Is this a sign that both countries are becoming friends?
