Mills in Alto Aragón - mill stones

Yésero

Yésero is situated in the Alto Gállego region and is on the road from Biescas towards Torla and the famous Ordesa National Park. The stones can be found at the Parque infantil (Children's playground) at the far end of the village (road to the cemetery).

Two mill stones at the children's playground.

The stones are said to have come from a grain mill below the village (Diario del Altoaragón, 19.ix.2020). However, it is not clear whether the mill they mention in the article is the same as the one on our page. There may have been a second mill.
