Castejón de Arbaniés

Castejón de Arbaniés lies north of the main road between Barbastro and Huesca. The village is easily reached from Siétamo. The mill is in the fields north of the village next to the Río Guatizalema. The mill is muy ruinoso.

A tree came down onto the roof of the construction. There is nothing much left, but you can still see it was a mill.

The canal is very impressive. It is wide and deep and still in use to irrigate the vegetable gardens nearby.

Follow the canal upstream for several hunderd meters and be surprised by the enormous azud.
