This roadsign is probably made in the modern way from
prefabricated parts, but it still manages to radiate that special warm and
sweet feeling of old times.
There is no clear relationship with any other country's design, but
the shape of the head brings to the mind the Russian group which
is also prevalent in the Baltic states (see
Russia). The drawing at hand is much nicer
though - Looks a bit like a bird, isn't it? - and is enhanced
with a shovel.
I'm a bit puzzled in fact by the Russian design. Countries of this family
are told to provide in many rather empty jobs. I thus would expect a second
heap as explained in Argentina. Roadsigns
are probably also to be considered propaganda. |
