Men at Work in Japan

The Japanese worker is in the good company of Belgium, Iceland and Vietnam as well, where workmen are instructed to wear a helmet. He still needs a lesson or two about tool handling, though. I wonder if he knows about our safety-sheet?

I don't have any sign in the collection with a similar drawing. It probably is an original design. Notice how the detail of the drawing varies widely. The first worker is faceless without feet. The second has his feet flat and firmly planted on the road and the last one has his feet in a much more natural position.
