Road signage in Curaçao is remarkable in that no designs are used which come from, or are inspired by, the Nether­lands, the kingdom to which Curaçao belongs.

The Children's Crossing Signs are inspired by the Mediterranean group (see Malta).

The Man at Work signs, at first glance, may look like they come from the Netherlands, but we, roadsign collectors with a keen eye, immediately notice the white belt line at his waist. He comes from Germany. Our sample is small, but still.
